    Description

Circa 1964 Heavyweight Champions Poster. Fantastic poster from the Murray Woroner radio program that attempted to determine the greatest heavyweight of all time. Each week the show produced a round winner using the NCR-315 super computer until only Muhammad Ali and Rocky Marciano remained for the final bout, with Marciano eventually being named the Greatest Heavyweight. "The Gallery of Heavyweights That Cassius Clay Joins" pictures the 22 world heavyweight champions preceding Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) and this is the only known example of this poster. Includes John L. Sullivan, Jack Dempsey, Gene Tunney, Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano, and Sony Liston in 1962. 22x6". NRMT.
