    Description

1989 Tommy Morrison Fight Worn Gloves from Brown Bout. The troubled heavyweight is best remembered today for his star turn as Stallone's protege turned opponent in Rocky V, and for his tragic passing in 2013 due to AIDS infection. For a brief period, however, Morrison was one of the most feared sluggers in the sport, ending forty-two of his fifty-two professional bouts by knockout. Aaron Brown was able to barely survive the scheduled six rounds at Atlantic City on July 3, 1989 after hitting the canvas in the first, brutalized by the "Ringside" brand gloves presented here. Gloves show nice wear and are notated with the date inside the wrists by renowned trainer Steve Lott, whose letter of provenance attends. Letter of provenance from Steve Lott. LOA from Craig Hamilton.
