1980 Roberto Duran vs. Sugar Ray Leonard "No Más" On-Site Fight Poster. "The whole fight, I was moving, I was moving," Leonard explained. "And Voom! I snapped his head back with a jab. Voom! I snapped it back again. He tried to get me against the ropes, I'd pivot, spin off and Pow! Come under with a punch." The 1976 Gold Medalist had learned his lesson from his first meeting with Durán, so angered by the insults directed his way prior to their Montreal debut that he abandoned his slick, elusive style and stood flat-footed against the punishing Panamanian, brawling rather than boxing. The result had been a thrilling slugfest, but one that went Durán's way in a razor-thin judges' decision. The boxing world cried out for a rematch, and, just five months later, they would have it.Presented is an original on-site fight poster from the second edition of the Duran/Leonard trilogy, unquestionably the most famous of their encounters. Exhibiting the lightest amount of staining at the bottom-left edge with no other noticeable wear, it measures at 14x17.5".
