Description

1974 Muhammad Ali vs. Joe Frazier II On-Site Poster Signed by Both. A broadside on the want list of countless boxing collectors becomes all the more appealing with the addition of flawless sharpie signatures from two of the fighters who made the 1970's the Golden Age of Heavyweight Boxing. Ali would avenge his first professional loss three years earlier in his first meeting with Frazier, though Smokin' Joe and many of his supporters contend that he was robbed by the judges' decision. The colorful Madison Square Garden poster is properly marked "Litho'd by Passantino Printing Co." of New York City at lower right and exhibits some minor water staining at the edges only apparent upon close inspection. Framed dimensions 30x37.5". Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
