Description

1974 Muhammad Ali vs. George Foreman (Rumble in the Jungle) Rare Discontinued Closed-Circuit Fight Poster. The Muhammad Ali and George Foreman fight in Zaire was groundbreaking. Don King, a man who never shied away from controversy, had a poster issued which reads "From Slaveship to Championship" and also depicts African Americans in slave chains. The posters were pulled shortly after issue. This 25x38" poster is applied to a canvas backing. Three horizontal creases span the rare poster. Overall a fine representation of the most controversial boxing poster ever issued.
