    Description

1973 Ali vs. Norton Fight Program. After a relative unknown named Ken Norton broke Ali's jaw early in their first meeting on March 31st of this year, assuming Ali's Heavyweight Championship belt by virtue of a unanimous twelve-round decision, the stage was set for a September rematch, for which this truly pristine NRMT program was issued. The cover graphics make note of the former Champ's cracked jaw, and asks "Will it be Ali's Revenge?" Indeed it would be, as Ali would manage a controversial split decision win to regain the belt he had lost. Only a tiny bit of ink on the cover, filling in the letter "o" of a printed word, changes this publication from its "as printed" state. Easily the finest example of this tough program that we've encountered. Sourced from the personal collection of a sports writer on hand to cover the bout.
