1972 Muhammad Ali vs. Bob Foster On-Site Fight Poster & Postcards Lot of Four. Bob Foster, who Ali said had "the punch of a mule," lasted eight rounds with The Greatest despite being forty-one pounds lighter (221 versus 180). In this bout, Foster also had the distinction of being the first fighter to give Ali a cut eye. After he retired from boxing, Foster became a lawman in New Mexico. "The Sound And The Fury" from the "Sahara-Tahoe Hotel" with action photos of Ali and Foster also features future Ali opponent Ken Norton on the undercard. The poster has a three-inch tear at the top center, small pinholes, and numerous creasing but would still be a fine display piece if mounted on linen and framed. (14x22"). Also three postcards (NRMT) from the hotel promoting the bout.
