Description

1969 Rocky Marciano vs. Muhammad Ali "The Super Fight" Multi-Signed Display. Still officially banished from the sport due to his refusal to register for the Vietnam War draft, Ali met Rocky Marciano in a fictional bout, sparring seventy rounds with the aging former Champion, who wore a toupee for the footage. Computers then chose the result, a Marciano knockout victory in the thirteenth. Marciano would perish in a plane crash three weeks after filming concluded.

Here we present an extremely scarce cardboard display that was signed by Ali and Marciano in bold ball-point ink. Personalized by each fighter to the son of Ali's trainer, Jimmy Dundee, it is framed and matted at 12x16". Letter of provenance from Jim Dundee. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
