    Description

1967 Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) vs. Ernie Terrell Original News Photograph. A bout where Ali showcased the best he had to offer as a boxer, exhibiting blinding hand-speed and footwork, and the worst he had to offer in terms of sportsmanship. Before the bout, he hurled racial insults, calling Terrell an "Uncle Tom." During the bout, Ali intentionally stuck his thumb in Terrell's eye causing a blood vessel to break, rubbing his eyes across the ropes, and spitting at his feet. Despite fighting with blurred vision for the last few rounds, Terrell went the distance. 8x10". NRMT.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
