    Description

1966 Muhammad Ali vs. Henry Cooper Fight Program. Held on May 21, 1966 at London's Arsenal Stadium, Muhammad Ali defended his title against British challenger Henry Cooper. In a rematch of the 1963 fight, in which Cooper floored the future champ at the end of the 4th round only to lose in the fifth, Ali again prevailed; this time with a referee stoppage in the sixth round due to a deep gash over Cooper's left eye. About 40,000 spectators went home disappointed from the Arsenal football ground in Highbury, north London. Program remains in very good condition was only minor wear and creasing throughout. Back cover has a minor 1/2" tear at top edge. A nice collectible from the champ's early career.
