1964 Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali vs. Sonny Liston World Heavyweight Championship Program. Having already won in the Golden Gloves tournament and the Olympics, Cassius Clay went 19-0 in smaller fights between 1960 and 1963. Then, in February 1964, Clay got his chance at the World Heavyweight Championship title, facing Sonny Liston in Miami Beach. In the seventh round, Clay took home the belt by way of a TKO.

This program offers an important glimpse into the career of Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali, honoring his first title and first major fight. Photos of both Clay and Liston are front and center on the cover. Measuring 9x12," the program grades out at VG/EX, mostly due to one innocuous quarter-inch tear on the top.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
