Description
1964 Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) vs Sonny Liston I Program. The actual on-site fight program from the bout where Cassius Clay defeated Sonny Liston to become the new heavyweight champion of the world. "Official Souvenir Program. World Heavyweight Championship, 15 Rounds. Sonny Liston vs Cassius Clay. Miami Beach Convention Hall, Tuesday, February 25, 1964. Presented by Dundee-MacDonald Enterprises, Inc." Both fighters are pictured on the cover. Beautifully scored and annotated in blue ballpoint with "TKO" and "Liston did not come out for Round 7." The program also has a mild vertical center bend from where it was clutched during the fight. Other than the aforementioned details, the program is in NRMT condition.Auction Info
