1963 Sugar Ray Robinson vs. Ralph Dupas On-Site Poster. The first example we've ever encountered of this rare poster hyping the approaching bout between the "Greatest Attraction Ever" Sugar Ray Robinson and his opponent Ralph Dupas at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Cracks had begun to show in Robinson's armor at the time this fight was waged, just two years before his retirement, and he won the bout with a controversial decision. The 14x22" poster has some tape repair at lower right and has been laminated, but presents very well. When one considers the rarity and desirability of Sugar Ray Robinson fight posters, such condition issues must be excused.Auction Info
