Description

1963 Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) vs. Henry Cooper I Original Photograph, PSA/DNA Type 1. Cassius Clay was 18-0 coming into the fight with Henry Cooper and on a mission to take down Sonny Liston. He had not changed his name to Muhammad Ali yet, but he was already known as The Greatest. Cooper is one of only four opponents who managed to send Ali to the canvas. The fight was stopped in the fifth round due to Cooper's excessive bleeding, which is visible in this great image. Topix Photo stamp and paper caption on verso. 5.x7.5". Encapsulated by PSA/DNA Type 1.
