1960 Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) Homecoming Poster. This colorful cardboard poster announced Clay's September 20, 1960 homecoming in Louisville, Kentucky, after his victory at the Rome Olympics. The second earliest known Cassius Clay poster, the advertisement is an invitation by the Mayor and the City Council for the public to meet the Olympian at Central High, his alma mater. Only three such posters are known. Very light surface imperfections (near mint condition). The poster is 16 x 20". Matted and framed to 29.5x24".Auction Info
