Description

1956 Rocky Marciano Single Signed Baseball. He might have been the toughest man ever to step through the ring ropes, earning and retaining the title through his superhuman ability to inflict and absorb punishment that would break any other fighter. The only undefeated Heavyweight Champion in boxing history announced his retirement on April 27, 1956, the same year he created this exceedingly rare single signed baseball for a fan. We can see that the Brockton Blockbuster was not accustomed to signing horsehide as his 9/10 blue ink signature stacks his nickname on top of his surname, and his "World Champ 1956" notation spills onto an adjacent panel. The result is one of the most desirable Marciano autographed objects ever to reach the hobby's auction block. "Regulation League" sphere exhibits a few spots of toning but presents well. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
