Description

1950's Rocky Marciano Signed Ephemera Display. The only undefeated heavyweight champion of the world, Rocky Marciano was 49-0 with forty-three knockouts. Coal Operators Casualty Company Display card (8x8" visible) sits at the center of the frame and depicts Marciano knocking out Walcott in 1952. Huge oversized autograph in black fiber-tip marker is a 10/10. Only distractions are a small tear which intersects with the "R" in Rocky, surface crease and some minor discoloration, none of which significantly impact the the broad appeal of this display. Surrounding the image are a 1953 full ticket for Marciano-Walcott at Yankee Stadium; 1954 fill ticket for Marciano-Charles at Yankee Stadium; 1955 closed caption full ticket for Marciano-Cockell at Kezar Stadium; and 1955 dressing room pass for Marciano-Moore at Yankee Stadium. Matted and framed 21x20.5". Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic.
