    Description

1950's Archie Moore Fight Protector & Training Pants with Family Letter. Archie Moore packed a powerful punch inside his 5-11 frame. The man who knocked out more opponents than any boxer, Moore used this "Everlast" protector cup when he was getting ready for in-ring action. Heavy wear is featured on the leather relic. An Everlast manufacturer's label is sewn across the front and has a tattered suspended label affixed. Also included are Moore's training pants. A "Sports Center [size] 38" tag is in the waistline. Authentication comes via a signed letter from Moore's nephew who vouches for authenticity. These items have never been offered for public sale before and have resided in Moore's family for decades. Letter of provenance from Jimmy Moore, Archie Moore's nephew.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
