1911 John L. Sullivan Signed Photograph. Stirring silver gelatin studio photograph of the last bare-knuckle Heavyweight Champ is inscribed by him on the verso, "Compliments of John L. Sullivan To Geo. K. Elliott, March 4th, 1911" in the boldest of black fountain pen ink. While the 3.5x6" image exhibits a certain number of condition challenges, most notably creasing and paper loss in the lower third, these issues remain entirely clear of the inscription.
