1897 Jim Corbett vs. Robert Fitzsimmons Stub, PSA EX-MT 6.Early plans to hold this bout in Arkansas and Texas were blocked by the authorities, leading to a long delay before Carson City, Nevada became the host. Corbett dominated all fourteen rounds before a single gut punch from Fitzsimmons put Gentleman Jim down for the count in a stunning upset. It's unclear whether this 1895 Dallas ticket lost its stub when used at the new venue, or if it simply became detached on its own. In either case, it's the only stub in the PSA population report, a tremendous rarity. Encapsulated by PSA, EX-MT 6.
