Tommy Burns Signed Photo "Tiny" Tommy Burns was Heavyweight Champion of the World from 1906 to 1908. He successfully defended the title eleven times and had victories over Bill Lang, Marvin Hart, Bill Squires and Philadelphia Jack O'Brien before losing the title to Jack Johnson. Presented here is a scarce signed photograph of Burns in a fight pose wearing his championship belt. Inscribed, "To a good friend Danny Pelton Tommy Burns When Worlds Heavyweight Champion 1906 to Dec. 26/1908." The photo measures 7.25" x 10" with one center horizontal crease.
