1968 Muhammad Ali Date Planner. There are only a handful of living sports legends left on the planet. At the top of that short list is Muhammad Ali. The star of Ali shines a little brighter with each passing year. One can imagine Ali's schedule filled up pretty fast in 1968. In '67 he was stripped of his heavyweight championship when he refused to enter the U.S Army. This hardcover National Diary for 1968 was at the champ's side throughout that tumultuous calendar year. The binding has faltered over time, resulting in the detachment of approximately 76 pages which are present. The book appears to be written in Ali's hand as the "M's" match up to his signature from that time. Numerous business engagements are captured within the pages along with reminders to pay taxes on his appearances. The opening page has scribbling and a few phone numbers written. "This Book Belongs to Muhammad Ali" and a phone number are carefully written by the champ. Roughly half of the pages remain blank. PSA/DNA has noted some of the entries are in an unknown hand. Overall, an interesting look into the life of a boxing great during his ring career. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
