1964 Cassius Clay Signed Prophecy Glove. The brazen young boxer predicts the outcome of his famous showdown with the heavily-favored Sonny Liston a month before that historic bout on February 25, 1964 in Miami, Florida. Offered in this lot is a tan leather bag glove made by Wilson which has been boldly signed in ink, "From Cassius Clay Jan 19-64, Next Heavyweight Champion Of The World." The glove measures 4.25x8.25" and is in fine, unused condition. This signed glove was given to Joe Martin, the man who taught a young Cassius Clay to box, and was part of his collection. There is a slight smudge on the word "Jan," otherwise the writing is bold and clear. A very scarce and historically significant signed glove. LOA from Craig Hamilton/ JO Sports. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
