    Description

1963 Sonny Liston vs. Floyd Patterson Boxing Ticket Signed by Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali). Sonny Liston showed the boxing world he was indeed the top heavyweight when he floored Floyd Patterson July 22, 1963. Three knockdowns in the opening round spelled the end of the line for Patterson. Following Liston's drubbing of Patterson, he would take on a young Cassius Clay. We all know what happened when the new star was born. This ticket was used for admission to Liston's first round win over Patterson. But there is a bonus, a rather large one. Clay signed the reverse of the ticket in 9/10 blue ballpoint. This assures us Clay was in attendance that fateful day. The ticket has a major horizontal crease which lands in-between Clay's bold signature. Another crease appears below the champ's photo on front. All four corners are rounded. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
