    Description

1936 William A. Brady Handwritten Signed Letter - Lot of 2. Our world may have never known James J. Jeffries had it not been for promoter William A. Brady. As the story goes, Brady cast Jeffries for a play and later persuaded him to join the boxing world.

Brady wrote each of these letters, which discuss theatre content, in his own hand. One is dated "1936" and both feature full name signatures from one of boxing's earliest, and most successful, promoters. Authenticators have declined to rule due to lack of exemplars.
