1931 Jack Sharkey Signed Check Paid to & Endorsed by James Jeffries. Hall of Fame boxer Jack Sharkey was a former Heavyweight Champ whose most memorable fights were against Jack Dempsey, Joe Louis and Max Schmeling. Following his successful in-ring run, Sharkey was a referee and made many personal appearances. This check was paid from Sharkey to fellow boxing great James Jeffries for the sum of $1000. The front appears to all be in Sharkey's hand - notice the distinct "J's". Jeffries endorsed the reverse in 10/10 black fountain pen.

Banking stamp marks race around the autograph and just miss it. "In consideration of this $1000 I hereby release all of my rights and holdings which any legal contract would give me in any monetary earnings of Al Morro," is typed above Jeffries' signature. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic.
