    Description

1976 Muhammad Ali vs. Ken Norton III Poster. Ali and Norton split their first two battles. The third and final fight was held at Yankee Stadium in 1976, and Ali won by unanimous decision. The promotional poster had very little success at its purpose, because a police strike allowed gangs of ne'er-do-wells to prey on the few fans brave enough to head for the turnstiles. Only ten tickets were sold at the kiosks, and thousands who had tickets in-hand took one look at the scene and fled back to the safety of the subways. This EX-NM poster of that momentous event is framed and double-matted to 22.5x31.5" and exhibits light creasing throughout.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
