1976 Muhammad Ali vs. Antonio Inoki On-Site Fight Poster. Call it a spectacle at best, an embarrassment at worst, but don't call it an actual "fight" in the strict definition of the term. Inoki, a famous wrestler in Japan, spent much of the match lying on the mat, kicking at Ali's legs as the American beckoned him unsuccessfully to stand and trade blows. This very rare 20x29" poster from the Nippon Budokan arena in Tokyo could, however, be considered the very first poster for the sport of mixed martial arts. Expected wear to the edges, but the image area is predominantly free of distraction. One of the weirdest chapters (and artifacts) of Ali lore.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
