    Description

1963 Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) vs. Henry Cooper Official Program. From The Greatest's final bout before his historic victory over Sonny Liston to claim the Heavyweight title. Only a handful of programs have made their way across the Atlantic since the bout at London's Wembley Stadium, Ali's first fight on foreign soil, leaving serious Ali collectors scrambling for the few available specimens. Check the Heritage Permanent Auction Archives and you'll find a tape-stained stub that realized $717 in our May 2005 Signature Auction. One unobtrusive vertical center fold and some usual wear to the reverse cover are the only issues to note with this offered example. The program remains fully and tightly bound, however, with no writing within. One must forgive these condition concerns in light of the tremendous rarity. An exciting and rarely offered opportunity. In overall excellent condition.
