Extremely Rare 1948 Leaf Boxing 5-Cent Wax Pack. Offered is an extremely rare 1948 Leaf "Knock Out" Boxing 5-Cent wax pack! This is the type of item one only dreams about and Heritage is pleased to have the opportunity to offer this to our clients. The pack is solid and in excellent condition. One end is sealed, the other has a slight opening. PSA does not make a holder for this pack. It was sent to noted hobby expert Steve Hart. This was his response: "This is only the second time I have been asked to authenticate a 1948 Leaf Boxing 5-Cent wax pack. Where the wrapper ends meet there is evidence of slight wax melt. While this could be due to environmental/storage conditions, using due diligence I have to say that I cannot conclude with 100% certainty the pack has been tampered with. To that end, I cannot say with 100% certainty it has not been tampered with and is 100% original." After reading the above, we ask you bid accordingly.
