1967 Fher La Cibeles "Campeones Y Estrellas" Cassius Clay (Ali) PSA Good 2. By 1967, skill and confidence in equal measures established the young Louisville Lip as one of the most controversial figures in American sport even before his conversion to Islam and rejection of the Vietnam War draft fanned those flames into an inferno. There were barely any boxing card issues in the 1960's but the sport was popular around the world giving the hobby some heavyweight rarities to pursue. From 1967 we offer a rare fragile paper card featuring the then still Cassius Clay. The set is titled "Champions and Stars" which featured athletes, musicians and movie stars. Issued in Spain, the backs advertise a unique raffle where a new car could be won if people brought in 25 car parts. Offered is Cassius Clay likely the most significant figure in the series. Graded PSA Good 2. Only three submissions have ever been sent to PSA, with none climbing higher.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
