1951 Topps Ringside Uncut Panels Trio (3) With Marciano. Topps covered all the bases when they steamrolled into the gum card market in 1951. Their lone series dedicated to boxing was the "Ringside" issue that was offered in 1-card 1-cent wax packs and 5-cent packs that held uncut panels of two cards. Naturally the temptation to separate these panels was undeniable. Sixty years later, these uncut panels are pretty scarce. This lot offers three such panels: #'s 8-14 Maxil/La Starza (SGC 80 EX/NM 6), 45-28 Ross/Bartola (SGC 70 EX+ 5.5) and 32-38 Marciano/Dauthuille (SGC 80 EX/NM 6).

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
