    Description

1951 Topps Ringside Ray Robinson #43 SGC 96 Mint 9 - The Ultimate SGC Example! Currently, SGC has judged over 1,400 Topps Ringside boxing cards, only four have graded "96 Mint 9." This auction features two of those four. Jake LaMotta said of Ray Robinson, "without a doubt the greatest pound for pound fighter that ever lived." And if there was anybody who could attest to the brilliance of this Boxing Hall of Famer, it was LaMotta, who met Robinson in the ring a punishing six times, forfeiting his Middleweight Championship to him in the famous Valentine's Day Massacre of 1951. Another Robinson knock-out is this 1951 Topps Ringside SGC 96 Mint 9 stunner that holds the coveted title of "Pop-One-of One with None Higher!"
