1951 Topps Ringside Joe Louis #88 SGC 86 NM+ 7.5 - Pop two, One Higher. No offering of '51 Ringsides would be complete without The Brown Bomber. Among the most popular sports figures of the 20th century, Louis became a national hero during the turbulent time between WWI and WWII. Absolutely stunning hues and bright white border. Graded SGC 86 NM+ 7.5 and it is no easy task finding out why (light corner wear showing on the reverse but wouldn't raise any eyebrow if graded a little higher. Currently one of just two examples to grade 86 NM+, there is one higher and it is a lone "88" half grade up.
