    Description

1946 M-Unc. The Ring "Heavyweight Champions" Complete Set (16) Plus Original Envelope. This mysterious promotion has yet to be explained and maybe fully checklisted. What we do have is an original mailing envelope advertising "16 Pictures of HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONS FROM JOHN L. SULLIVAN TO JOE LOUIS" all for the princely sum of 25-cents; 16 photo cards of the champs plus a "odd" Kid Herman card which clearly belongs as the Bantamweight champ appears on the reverse of the envelope. The two-color envelope is fair with wear and rips and an open seal. The players included are: Sullivan (EX+), Corbett (small), Fitzsimmons (EX/MT), Jeffries (VG/EX), Hart, Herman, Burns (loose piece), Johnson (EX/MT), Willard, Dempsey (VG), Tunney (trimmed), Schmeling, Sharkey, Carnera, Baer, Braddock and Louis (trimmed). Grades 31% EX to EX/MT, 38% VG to VG/EX with a couple lesser, 31% trimmed.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
