    Description

1929-1930 Roger Peet Hall of Fame Boxers Graded Pair (2). Offered is a pair of scarce boxing collectibles, each graded by a third party service. The Rogers Peet series features athletes from various sports and were, by design, meant to be glued into a paper album. This process lead to most examples being lost or ruined after mounting. This pair shows no evidence of gluing or even general handling. The lot includes Hall of Fame boxers #11 Gene Tunney (SGC 84 NM 7) and #47 Max Schmeling (PSA EX 5). An attractive pair of two of boxing's greatest names.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
