    Description

1927 F52 Fro-Joy Gene Tunney SGC-Graded Complete Set (6). Every card has been graded by SGC. Fro-joy ice cream produced two 6-card sets, one featuring Babe Ruth, the other boxing great Gene Tunney. Collectibles from the Tunney are much more challenging to obtain to modern day boxing collectors. As advertised on the reverse of each card, the set was issued during the week of July 18th-23rd, 1927 and offered the same exchange option of sending in cards for "large reproduction of Gene's Tunney's autographed photo." The set includes: Graded - SGC 60 EX 5: 2 cards w/#'s 3 Portrait and 5 Flexing Arm; SGC 50 VG/EX 4: 4 cards w/ #'s 1 Full figure/Front, 2 Full figure/Side, 4 Portrait/Street Clothes and 6 In Boxing Ring. A scarce chance to buy this complete set.
