Description

1910-Era E75-E80 "E" Early Caramel Boxing Collection (70). The Early Caramel library of boxing sets is modest in quantity and reasonable in value (as compared to their baseball counterparts) although they are much more scarce than some baseball endeavors. This affords them a great level of appeal to modern collectors. With a library being complete at well under 200 cards, some think a full run of sets would be an easy task. This is nothing but hobby lore as the truth becomes apparent all too soon. Three cards have been graded by SGC. This presentation is a fine selection of mainly partial- to near-sets. Includes: 1910 E75 American Caramel (13/20) - Partial set. w/Attell (VG). Grades 54% VG to VG/EX, 46% GD to PR; 1910 E76 American Caramel (15/20) - Partial set. w/Corbett (GD), Jeffries (GD) and Sullivan (VG). Grades GD to PR with a few nicer; 1910 E77 American Caramel (22/24) - Near set. w/Attell (FR) and Johnson (SGC 30 GD 2). Grades 50% GD to VG, 50% PR to FR; 1910 E78 American Caramel (1) - Brannigan (trimmed); 1910 E79 American Caramel "27 Scrappers" (13/21) - Partial set of black backs. w/ Johnson/Burns (FR), Johnson/Cole (PR), Rawlings (SGC 30 GD 2) and Sharkey (SGC 40 VG 3). Grades 46% GD to VG, 54% PR to FR; 1910 E80 American Caramel "44 Scrappers" (6/11) - Partial set. w/Johnson (VR PR). Grades PR to FR with one nicer.

NOTE: The two missing E77 cards are: Benny Kaufman and Kaufman/Johnson.
