    Description

1888 N79 Duke & Sons "Histories of Poor Boys" Boxers Pair (2). "Histories of Poor Boys" are not cards at all but are small booklets which told the tale of individuals born without wealth but became famous and wealthy. Among the most popular subjects are legendary pugilists John L. Sullivan and Jake Kilrain. Both booklets are complete with very little to show for being over 110 years old. Spines are solid and the only criticism is slight wrinkle at the top end of each staple. Both present at the EX/MT level.
