1887 N174 Old Judge Prizefighters Paddy Ryan SGC 20 Fair 1.5 Pair (2). Both cards have been graded 20 Fair 1.5 by SGC, each is counted among a total population of only ten recorded entry's. Ryan claimed the title of "World's Heavyweight Champion" in 1880 but lost to the juggernaut that was John L. Sullivan in 1882, the last time a championship would be won in the bare knuckle style. The lot offers two different formats and includes Paddy Ryan/Wavy Logo and Paddy Ryan/Curved Log Above Head. Both exhibit creases and one has a faded vintage stamp on the reverse.
