1951 Topps Ringside Stanley Ketchel #72 SGC 92 NM/MT+ 8.5 - The Highest SGC Example! Stanley Ketchel was only 24 years when he died but did a lot of living, much of it involving violence, in and out of the boxing ring. A middleweight who would often fight heavyweights, Ketchel is believed to dream that his opponent insulted his mother before a fight which fueled his rage. Graded SGC 92 NM/MT+ 8.5, this card is stunning with only centering as the lone reason it isn't the 5th Ringside to earn a "96" by SGC. This condition rarity is the only card at the NM/MT+ level with none grading higher.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
