    Description

1948 Leaf Jack Dempsey #1 PSA EX-MT 6. Jack Dempsey was an icon of the Roaring Twenties who was just as popular, if not more popular, than Babe Ruth. On September 23, 1926 Dempsey fought Gene Tunney. Dempsey lost his title but the two met again on September 22, 1927 in Chicago in what is now the most famous fight of the 20th Century - The Long Count. Dempsey was a wise choice by Leaf to be honored on card #1 of this classic boxing series. Graded PSA EX-MT 6.
