1889 John L. Sullivan The Police Gazette Supplement. The Boston Strong Boy is celebrated in gorgeous full color in this very rare supplement harvested from the November 30, 1889 edition of The Police Gazette. We find the former Heavyweight Champ engaged in seven of his most noteworthy battles, both with and without gloves, typically standing over his vanquished foes, such as Paddy Ryan, John Donaldson and Jack Burke. At center he poses in semi-formal attire, his right hand resting on his Championship belt. Water staining encroaches upon the edges of the 18x24" relic, and a few small tears must be noted, but our catalog imagery should properly convey that the glorious aesthetics shine through nonetheless. The supplement is housed in an antique frame that completes the dimensions at 21.5x27.5". Third party shipping required.

    Guide Value or Estimate: $1,500 - $2,500.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
