Extremely Rare 1971 Topps Basketball Dual Wax Box with 24 Total Packs. Heritage Auctions wouldn't be surprised at all if you have never seen this extremely rare packaging variation utilized by Topps in 1971. As the outer sleeve advertises, cards featuring players from both the NBA and ABA are inside 24 total unopened wax packs from the 1971 Topps Basketball series. The cards are housed inside not the standard single box but two boxes specially designed to hold 12 packs. This sales approach was either a sales fail or just a limited test as they are so incredibly hard to find today.

Inside is the possibility of a mint condition stars and HoFers include Robertson, Bradley, Baylor, Cowens (Rookie), Reed, West, Havlicek, Maravich (SP), Abdul Jabbar, Wilkens, Barry (Rookie), Chamberlain, Hawkins, Hayes, Monroe, Archibald (Rookie), Haywood (Rookie), Lanier (Rookie), Issel (Rookie), plus Scoring Leaders, Checklists and others. Authenticated and sealed by Steve Hart-Baseball Card Exchange.
