Early 1980's Michael Jordan at UNC Original Photograph by Malcolm Emmons, PSA/DNA Type 1. You've seen his work in The Sporting News, Football Digest and Baseball Illustrated, but photographer Malcolm Emmons' greatest claim to fame is arguably his shot of Jerry West that was utilized to create the logo of the National Basketball Association. Here he turns his camera upon a youngster who would soon become the most celebrated figure in NBA history, an absolutely masterful image of Michael Jordan letting one fly as a member of the UNC Tarheels.

While Jordan is unquestionably one of the most photographed athletes in history, just a tiny portion of that imagery dates to his days of service to Dean Smith, and we've yet to encounter a collegiate shot that measures up to this masterpiece. It's printed to 8x10" dimensions and presented without a physical flaw to report. Verso bears Emmons' personal stamp and his handwritten identifier of the subject. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Type 1. Full LOA from PSA/DNA, Type 1.
