    Description

1998 Michael Jordan Signed Check to Casino Owned by Donald Trump. Both names are inescapable in any conversation about basketball or political supremacy, but even their most devoted fans would admit neither has lived the life of a Boy Scout. The fierce competitiveness that overloaded Michael Jordan's fist with Championship rings, likewise fueled (and perhaps continues to fuel) a high-stakes gambling hobby documented in small part by the offered lot.

This signed check represents a fifteen thousand dollar ($15,000) payment to "Trump Indiana, Inc." on January 17, 1998, an off-day between games in Milwaukee and back home in Chicago. Jordan would drop forty-five in that January 18th victory over the visiting Rockets, so it appears that a presumably late night of poker chips and cigars had no ill effect upon His Airness. His ballpoint signature rates 8/10 at lower right of the 3x6" document. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
