1996 SPx Michael Jordan #8 BGS NM 7, BAS Auto 9. Michael Jordan stopped playing professionally after the 2002-03 season, but his cards have never been hotter. A confluence of events has fueled the rising values: The television broadcast of The Last Dance documentary, which chronicled Jordan and his three-peat Chicago Bulls teams just as most sports were shut down and people were isolated in homes from the pandemic. The ratings for The Last Dance were enormous, and almost immediately so were the valuations for his cards. A PSA 10 1986-87 Fleer Jordan rookie card, easily available for a little over $20,000 just two years ago, recently sold for an amazing $211,000 on December 12, 2020.
