    1984-85 Star Company Basketball High Grade Complete Set (288) With #101 Michael Jordan BGS NM-MT+ 8.5! The 1986 Fleer Basketball promotion is considered to be the set that brought basketball cards back to the hobby limelight, but it is actually Star Co. that should receive the credit for the resurgence. Offered is a 288-card complete set of cards. A total of 6 cards have been graded by BGS. The set would include a crop of immensely talented athletes in veterans like Julius Erving, Kareem-Abdul Jabbar, Larry Bird and Magic Johnson plus newcomers in Isiah Thomas, Clyde Drexler, John Stockton, Akeem Olajuwon, Charles Barkley and of course Michael Jordan. The cards saw limited production estimated to be between 3,000 up to possibly 6,000 sets produced. This set appeared at an ideal time when the NBA was ready for world-wide popularity and features the true rookie card of Michael Jordan! Offered is a 288-card complete set. All three Michal Jordan cards have been graded by Beckett plus three others. Includes: #'s 76 Wilkins (NM), 101 Jordan (BGS NM-MT+ 8.5), 165 Drexler (NM/MT), 172 Johnson (NM), 184 Worthy (NM/MT), 195 Jordan "1984 Gold Medalist" (BGS NM 7), 202 Barkley (BGS NM-MT+ 8.5), 235 Stockton (BGS NM-MT+ 8.5), 237 Olajuwon (BGS NM 7), 261 Thomas (EX/MT), 288 Jordan "1985 Rookie of The Year" (BGS NM 7). Grades 80% NM/MT to NM/MT, 20% EX to EX/MT.
