    Description

1984-85 Star Co. Michael Jordan #101 BGS Mint 9. An easy argument can be made that the greatest basketball player of all-time is Michael Jordan. His accepted rookie appearance is in the 1986 Fleer series, but in fact, there were cards of him issued before that mainstream release. Offered is the Michael Jordan card from the 1984-85 Star Co. Chicago Bulls set. These cards were distributed in sealed team bags with the Jordan card located on top. This set is supposed to have a production run below 5,000. Isn't it time to add the real rookie card of basketball legend to your collection?

With thousands of his 1986 Fleer cards already reviewed by the grading services, there are just over 775 graded examples of his true card debut. Graded BGS Mint 9. Strong subgrades include Centering 8.5, Corners 9, Edges 9.5, Surface 9. One of just sixty-two examples to garner Mint status with only three examples graded higher.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
