1980 Topps Larry Bird/Julius Erving/Magic Johnson PSA Mint 9. Baseball card collectors are accustomed to seeing multiple players on rookie cards. It's fun to see what fresh-faced future HoFer shares his rookie card debut with players who are often met with a "Who?" That will not happen here. One of the driving forces in the early rounds in the popularity of NBA basketball was the all in good fun rivalry between NCAA stars Larry Bird and Magic Johnson. While it may have been coincidence, it was a genius move by Topps to pit the two on the same card with a certified basketball legend in Julius Erving to remind them they have a long road ahead to become true legends on the court.

Graded PSA Mint 9. One of the coveted gems of the basketball collecting world, here we offer the ever desirable Bird/Johnson rookie dual-debut from what was called at the time the innovative 1980 Topps basketball issue. Thanks to perforation process and traditionally less than perfect centering, with each passing year, this card is becoming more challenging to find at the highest grade levels. Generally, centering is not very precise with this card, but the offered card boasts centering is a mere thick hairline away from perfection.
